Born in London England, I often wondered, as a child, whether it was possible to trace my family’s origins in Africa. The thought of raiding several archives, with no guarantee of success, was daunting. Yet it surprised me to find that the British Colonial Office kept good records of the people who settled the British West Indies. Click on the above icons to find out about my to find my roots.
