Martin Try, President, along with Lions Viv and David Broadhurst were invited to tea with the 2nd Maids Moreton Brownies on Monday 29th January 2001. This was because of a co-operation between the Brownies and Buckingham Lions in producing a cookbook. Lions provided some recipes and Brownies some others. At the tea the Brownie recipes were tried out and declared a great success. We had Sausage Lasagne, Jelly wedges and Gooey Chocolate cake all washed down with lemon squash. Lion Viv co-ordiated the cookbook and produced and printed it and it is for sale for £2:00. There are some excellent recipes in it and all proceeds from the sale go to Lions and Brownie funds.
