We'll walk down that close again,

Take him to the cathedral lawn again
I'll put him safely in my coat again
We'll take him home againWe'll watch him chase the Hampshire hares again,
He'll run away again,
And when he comes home in the middle of the night,
We'll weep againWe'll build stepping stones across the river with him and Andrew again
With Derek and Janet again,
He'll run along the beach againAnd we'll all be young again
