Feumaidh sinn dìon a thoirt don abhainn 's a h-uile gnè naduir airson toileachadh don chloinn a bhios a'tighinn dhan t-saoghal nar dèidh.The river has many moods and can change from nothing more than a burn to a raging torrent overnight. Herons,dippers,salmon & trout, amphibians, wildflowers,native trees, they're all here: you can walk up and down either side and experience it all for yourself, starting from the harbour, the town bridge or from just across from the Courthouse.
Perhaps we should do a little more to preserve the River Nairn for future generations to enjoy: the riches of Mother Nature just a short walk from the High Street.
