London Fields CC Slovenian Tour 2008 - 19-22 September 2008

This September, LFCC plans a return visit to Slovenia for two matches against Ljubljana CC.

With a ground 8km from the city and overlooking the Alps it is a beautiful place to play cricket, and Ljubljana itself is one of Europe's prettiest capital cities.

Last year's tour saw us play two excellent games, resulting in a win and a defeat against friendly opposition comprising British and Aussie ex-pats as well as the odd Slovenian and a Sri Lankan leg spinner. This year we plan to travel a little later, enjoying the later summer and cheaper flights and hope to take a series lead.

Simultaneously, we also plan to drink the fine local beers in generous amounts in a range of excellent bars including lakeside retreats, cosy city watering holes and glamorous penthouse bars. We may even make it to the waterpark.

Flights, at this stage are less than £60 for a return. Book yourself or I can make a group booking if you get in touch

Accommodation is about £45 for 3 nights

All other transport probably totals approx £40

That's just £150 plus beer and food money for 3 nights and a unique cricketing experience!
