position of United Reformed Church chaplain to the universities is currently vacant. |
Liverpool is a thriving, bustling city with
three universities. Over 30,000 people study at or work in our universities. On top of
this there is the Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine, Liverpool Institute of Performimg
Arts and numerous other colleges. How do students find a church that suits them? Often
from friends, sometimes from ministers, maybe from information offices and now from the
internet.
The Rock is situated on the corner of Whitefield Road and Boundary Lane Liverpool 6. Take
West Derby Road from town and turn left into Boundary Lane about 1/2 mile beyond the
Grafton.
The Rock is served by
buses:
4, 5, 14, 19 or 19E to Breck Road then walk down Breckfield Road South
11,12,13,15, 18A, 18C, or 218 to Ogden's then walk down Boundary Lane
26 or 27 to Whitefield Road then walk down Whitefield Road
225 to Severs Street/Boundary Lane then walk down Boundary Lane
