Sloop rig October 2004 – these were taken by a following
boat shortly after the conversion to bermudan
sloop rig on a nice bright windy day in the river Orwell
Cutter rig October 2007 – these were taken by my good friends
David/Sue Dowding-ably assisted by my partner :Linda under challenging conditions (force5) in
Carrick Roads. The cutter rig was experimental and largely unsatisfactory.
Perfect for the large asymmetric but the flying jib was difficult to set due to
the upper standing rigging arrangements. The genoa
was reefed down into a fore sail, and the jib was undersized. It was a dark and
forbidding day and it took two sessions to get two reasonable photos (+ large
number of unusable pics)
