We bought a run down bungalow with some land in a leafy lane in Somerset, England in 1999. This has made great demands on my money and DIY skills!! After a lot of work and expense we now have a very comfortable house with all the luxuries we have wanted but couldn't previously have. All that left to do now is landscape the garden and play with my tractors.

During my 22 Years Military service I was trained to repair military radio communications equipment. I was also responsible for the operation and maintenance of many different types of Generating equipment and Vehicles involved with my job. I took the view that if you look after them they will provide you with power (= heat and light = Comfort!) when others are suffering through their poor care. Since leaving the Army I have found an interest in the collecting and restoration of Vintage Tractors and Engines and recently in ex Military Vehicles.
