These pictures were taken during 'Amphib 96', a meeting of amphibious vehicle owners from Europe who gathered in the Lake District and in York in the north of England in 1996.
This DUKW has a Turbo charged Diesel engine !
This Slipway was VERY steep and all the DUKW's ended up with their rears ends sliding down the slope.
This was another slipway, a little more gentle incline.
