| 18-20 March | Forest Green, Surrey | DAS weekend | Ingibjorg, Holmbyggyja |
| The first event of the year will be a classic DAS weekend in the charming village of Forest Green, near Dorking, Surrey. We will fight in character on Saturday, in the nearby Hurtwood. Later on there will be time for crafts and games: if anybody would like help making a tunic or some basic shoes or other kit, please contact Ingibjorg. On Friday night, we will undoubtedly be visiting the Parrot pub which is within very easy staggering distance of the village hall. There is plenty of sleeping space in the hall, which has recently been extended, plus some camping space. We'll have a full banquet on Saturday night, and if anybody is interested there will be time for games and/or crafts on Sunday morning. The cost is £15 for adults, or £7.50 for children aged 8 or over.[back to top] |

| 15-17 April | Isleham Priory, Cambridgeshire | DAS weekend | Visna, Ostviking |
| We will be using the 11th century Isleham Priory and its grounds for a weekend of training, games and crafts, with an authentic encampment in the Priory grounds. This will enable some people to camp, while others can be put up at Visna and Ubbi's house. One of the best features of this site is that combat training and crafts can take place together, enabling people to join in with both as they wish. The Priory will be open to the public during the day, giving us the opportunity to demonstrate our skills to the occasional visitor, but in the evenings it will be ours alone. The nearby Comrades Club provides an excellent drinking venue and pool table for Friday night. There will be a banquet in the Priory on Saturday evening, which will be a stunner if last year was anything to go by. Standing outside the priory, watching the candlelight flicker through the high windows and hearing the sounds of song and laughter from within was a very special moment.[back to top] |

| 1-3 May | Halfpenny Green, Staffordshire | Living History Display | Anlaf, Jorvikingi |
| This is a multi-period living history event at Halfpenny Green Vineyards, run by Longship Trading. DAS will have a Viking encampment where we will demonstrate crafts and generally chill out during the day. In the evenings, there will be a bar in the hall, or we can sit around the fire back at the camp. There is camping on site, and no charge for the weekend: in fact you may get something towards your travel expenses. http://www.halfpenny-green-vineyards.co.uk/ This is a great event for anybody who would like to try their hand at Living History and talking to the public, though if you would rather keep yourself to yourself, you can portray the Surly Hungover Viking! Note that although the encampment may be technically "Viking" because of the tent styles, Saxons will be just as welcome.[back to top] |

| June (tbc) | Flaunden, Hertfordshire | DAS weekend | Herewulf, Chilternsaete |
| The Saxons invite you to enjoy their splendid hospitality for a weekend of fighting and feasting in the village hall at Flaunden Hertfordshire.[back to top] | |||
| 1-3 July | Holmbury St Mary, Surrey | DAS weekend | Ingibjorg, Holmbyggja |
| The Holmbyggjar invite you to join them for a summer weekend in the woodland setting of Holmbury St Mary, near Dorking in Surrey. On Saturday morning, we will be fighting in the woods up on the hill overlooking the hall, and Saturday afternoon will be given over to crafts and games, so please bring your kubb set! If it is not too hot, there will also be further fighting or trials of strength in the afternoon. If anybody would like help making basic kit such as a tunic or simple shoes, please contact Ingibjorg. On Friday night, we may be found at the pub which is at the bottom of the hill - within easy walking distance of the hall. Accomodation will be in the village hall, which has two small rooms in addition to the hall - contact Ingibjorg if you want to reserve a room. Priority will be given to those bringing children. We'll have a full banquet on Saturday night, and if anybody is interested there will be time for games and/or crafts on Sunday morning. The cost is £15 for adults, or £7.50 for children aged 8 or over.[back to top] |

| August (tbc) | London | Possible display | Ingibjorg, Holmbyggja |
| This event is still at the early negotiation stage, but we are hoping to put on a display in central London to celebrate the voyage of the Gokstad replica ship Gaia.[back to top] | |||
| 27-29 August | Murton Park, York | Living History Weekend | Anlaf, Jorvikingi |
| This event is one of the highlights of the DAS year. Join the Jorvikingi for a long weekend of period living in the reconstructed Viking village at Murton Park, near York. Although the houses are not 100 % authentic, they look and feel the part and the atmosphere of the village is unbeatable. We will be chilling out and doing crafts: this is a great opportunity to learn new skills, sleep in Viking houses, and relax while watching the chickens. There will be a banquet in the long hall on Saturday night: nothing can match the experience of banqueting in a wooden longhall lit only by the central fire and a few rushlights. The site includes a museum of farming, with rare breeds of livestock, rural life displays, on-site blacksmith, steam railway and a cafe. You can also visit York which has a great collection of museums and historic buildings.[back to top] |

| September (tbc) | South Cadbury | DAS Weekend | Wulfstan, Somersaete |
| A very welcome return of this camping-only event at South Cadbury, Somerset. There will be fighting on the hillfort, and a banquet in the local hall.[back to top] | |||
| November (tbc) | Much Wenlock, Shropshire | DAS Weekend | Ingibjorg, Holmbyggja |
| We will stay in a threshing barn near the Shropshire village of Much Wenlock, which has been converted into a bunkhouse. So for once, you will be able to sleep in a bed and have as many hot showers as you like! We will be fighting and training locally, there will be a banquet in the dining hall area of the barn, and there will also be time for crafts and kitmaking. The cost will be around £23 for the weekend, although there is some space for people to camp at a much reduced rate.[back to top] | |||
| 9-11 December | Flaunden, Hertfordshire | DAS weekend | Hallgerd, Westmen |
| Our Christmas Special will be held at Flaunden village hall, with fighting at Chipperfield. On Saturday morning we will be fighting in the woods at Chipperfield, and the afternoon will be devoted to crafts, games and other silliness. Plentiful food and tests of skill will be provided at the banquet, at which it is hoped that we will be able to further reduce the puffin population of Canna Island.[back to top] | |||
