- Russell Mills, as well as producing acclaimed music, is an artist who has worked closely with Sylvian. He was responsible for the Gone To Earth artwork as well as Trophies and also worked with Sylvian on the Ember Glance installation in Japan in 1990 and designed all the merchandise and stage design for the 1988 Sylvian world tour, In Praise of Shamans.
- He has produced the covers of cds & books for Brian Eno, Roger Eno, Samuel Beckett, Milan Kundera among others!

- Born 1952 in Yorkshire, Mills' big break came through working with the avant garde guru and part time rock god, Brian Eno. Subsequent commissions for album covers & tour merchandise design for the likes of David Sylvian & Nine Inch Nails brought his work to another generation of rock & ambient followers...
- Illustration is Mills' bread & butter. His work is diverse and his commissions for book covers by, among others, Samuel Beckett & Milan Kundera show an artist of supreme confidence, at ease with all aspects of the human form. But his work is now most famous for its abstractness...he has become a kind of modern day Kurt Schwitters.
- He has recently branched out into other mediums, releasing music and producing multi media installations...
