Building on the well proven accuracy and reliability of Navnet Vx2, Navnet 3D's "Time Zero" seamless and instant pan, zoom and tilt technology, together with Furuno's rendering of Maxsea MM3D cartography (for the UK and Channel Islands based on cartography derived direct from UK Hydrographic Office data), and "PhotoFusion" integration of aerial photography for land areas and shallows (adjustable down to 7 metres below datum, with user-adjustable transparency levels) makes coastal, inshore, and shallow-water navigation in 3D into a genuine advantage (reverting to conventional overhead "flat" 2D view is available at the touch of a button).
Renowned Furuno reliability*, with their continuing mastery of radar technology, now with Ultra High Definition for short ranges.
Fixed Displays for flush or bracket mounting are available in 8.4" and 12.1" (diagonal measurement of active display screen size, as standard for all display equipment), and there is a Black Box system version with panel mount waterproof keyboard/trackpad, which uses separated display(s), whether Furuno waterproof displays or standard PC displays.
All systems are AIS target-display ready (requires an AIS receiver or transponder), and have been purpose designed for NMEA 2000 compliance, although retaining NMEA0183 input and output capability for interfacing with existing equipment.
Ultra High Definition network Radar can be incorporated (or future-added) - 19" and 24" radomes, and 3.5', 4' and 6' open array radar scanners, all being ARPA-equipped as standard (up to 30 ARPA targets - requires a high-speed heading sensor)
Other options include network echo sounder modules (up to 3kW), video cameras (analogue and IP, including PoE), MF/HF radio weatherfax receiver (for forecast charts up to 5 days, + Navtex) , Network AIS receiver or transponder, and now, "Echopilot FLS Platignum Engine" forward looking sounder display capability.

Genuinely local customers always have priority for installation, service, help and advice.
Internet purchasers please note:
If the internet is so cheap and easy - then try getting the internet to install it, calibrate it, approve the installation for onboard warranty, or fly over and DEAL with it if it goes wrong! This is why all marine electronics manufacturers have a network of SKILLED LOCAL DEALERS, who can attend wherever you are if something goes wrong.
Internet bucket shops can't provide anything other than basic-level telephone support, after which point they rely on YOU, to remove the equipment, pack it, and send it back to them. Then if no fault is found in the equipment, you are required to reinstate it aboard, and then call on the help of manufacturer-approved local skill - HELLO. Hope you aren't in a hurry!
INTERNET BUCKET SHOPS ARE DESTROYING THE SKILLED SUPPORT NETWORK. DON'T LET THIS CONTINUE - forget the internet - BUY FROM THE SKILLED LOCAL DEALER IN THE FIRST PLACE, otherwise the geographically-spread support network will disappear!
Why not just get a sensible all-in quote from the manufacturer's local service dealer in the first place, with a fair discount, and proper installation and calibration at the standard hourly rate, giving the benefit of two years onboard warranty, plus the peace of mind of knowing that your supplier is close by and committed to support of the equipment (as opposed to merely selling it, which any fool in a bow tie can do), and you will also be helping to maintain the skills network, which you may one day need to call upon during your cruising.
We do not recognise customers of the internet as being local customers. However, installation and diagnostic service may be available during autumn or winter, if spare capacity allows, without guarantee of starting or completion dates, at the following rates:
Installation and commissioning of customer-supplied equipment, £50 per hour. (labour-only estimates are not offered).
Inspection and commissioning of a DIY installation for the purpose of manufacturers warranty validation, for customer-supplied equipment, £90 per hour.
