Panel Seven moves the mural forward to the 1970s. The event is the occupation of the yards at the Upper Clyde Shipbuilders.
The panel, with its rich yellows, celebrates the action and shows the workers discussing the issues. It was 1971 and in response to the government's call to close the four yards the UCS workforce organised a very successful work-in.
