"For His Name's Sake" is a collection of essays by pacifist members of the British Churches of Christ in justification of their position as Conscientious Objectors in what we call the First World War. It should be noted that the writers would generally be identified with the more conservative section of the churches and that they felt betrayed by those churches which disagreed with their position.
