We opened our Ryman Youth League campaign with an encouraging draw with local rivals Carshalton Athletic at Imperial Fields. Early pressure led to Abdoulaye Canara sending over a cross from the right which was met by Dayo Junaid, whose shot from the edge of the area flew just wide of the left hand post in the 8th minute. Daniel Azzopardi's left sided run ended with his shot being pushed away for a corner kick by keeper David Downham in the 12th minute. A minute later, Dayo Junaid was narrowly off target with his 30 yard drive, which flew just wide of the left hand post.
We kept up the pressure on the Robin's defence, with Daniel Azzopardi playing the ball in from the left to Mohammed Karaye, whose drive from 30 yards out was saved by keeper Downham in the 18th minute. Carshalton went close when Ryan Pearson's shot from the edge of the area struck the left hand post in the 40th minute. We finally took the lead in the 53rd minute, after Dayo Junaid's crossfield pass found Michael Antonio in space and he fired home his low drive.
On the hour, Jamie Henley produced an important save to halt Adam Stenson's right sided shot. Carshalton equalised in the 73rd minute, when Zeyaad Hussain's right sided cross was headed in by Osa Obamonyi. We went close to clinching victory when Steven McKitty struck a low shot to draw a fine save from keeper David Downham, who spread himself well to block the shot, ensuring that the league points were shared. The team can feel proud of their efforts which bode well for a successful season.

We turned on the style to produce a second half display which saw us emerge as worthy winners after an entertaining match at Lordswood. The woodwork came to Maidstone's rescue in the 22nd minute, when Dayo Junaid's chipped shot over the keeper struck the crossbar. Maidstone went ahead in the 28th minute, following a right sided corner kick, which was headed home by Robert Lyall.
We went close to levelling the score in the 34th minute, after Dayo Junaid's left sided corner kick found Abdoulaye Canara, whose shot on the turn was cleared off the goal line to safety. We started the second half in determined fashion, with a cross from the right being met by Terroll Lewis, whose header was pushed away for a corner kick by keeper Joe Dawson in the 52nd minute. We drew level with a wonder goal in the 69th minute. The ball was cleared out to the right flank by the home defence, where Michael Antonio spotted the keeper off his line and struck a precision chipped shot from fully 35 yards out over the stranded keeper and into the back of the net.
We kept up the momentum and went ahead in the 72nd minute, when Dan Mason won the ball on the right and played it over to Dayo Junaid, who struck his shot from outside the area into the left hand corner of the net. Terroll Lewis's left sided cross was met by Dayo Junaid, who saw his header saved by keeper Joe Dawson in the 78th minute. Our third goal came in the 81st minute following a corner kick from the right which found Chris Wood, whose shot was cleared off the line, before Michael Antonio fired home his follow up shot.
We completed the scoring in the 87th minute, when Dan Mason took a left sided pass in his stride, before chipping his shot over the advancing keeper into the back of the net. We ran out clear winners, maintaining our grip on the game until the final whistle to record a memorable victory.

A late winner three minutes from time denied us a deserved share of the points against the K's at Cobham. We took the game to our hosts in the early stages with Terroll Lewis ending his right sided run with a shot which was parried away by keeper George Ellis in the 24th minute. Kingstonian went close following a free kick on the left which found Robert Sheridan, whose overhead kick rose just over the crossbar in the 27th minute. Jack Witts came to our rescue in the 28th minute, diving to save Mark Watkins's shot on the turn.
Kingstonian went ahead in the 41st minute, when a right sided free kick reached Craig Mullen, who struck his low drive into the left hand corner of the net. We started the second half in determined style with Terroll Lewis's surging run leading to his shot being blocked by the legs of keeper George Ellis in the 46th minute. Dan Mason played the ball in from the right to Terroll Lewis, whose shot was saved on the line by Ellis in the 54th minute. Our attacking play was rewarded in the 56th minute, when Terroll Lewis's through pass was run on to by Jason Sarpong-Aboaque, who cut in from the right and fired his low shot into the far corner of the net.
A minute later, Michael Antonio struck a right sided shot which flew just wide of the post. Kingstonian were foiled again in the 72nd minute, when Mark Watkins's close range shot was pushed away for a corner kick by Jack Witts. All our efforts were to go unrewarded after a right sided corner kick was floated over to the far post, where Ross Chalke was waiting to direct his diving header into the back of the net in the 87th minute. The quality of our play caused our hosts numerous problems, giving us a deserved self belief in our ability to enjoy a successful season.

Three goals in a four minute spell in the second half saw us gain another fine victory to add to our impressive start to the season. Michael Antonio went close with a right sided volley which was saved on the goal line by keeper Ben Long in the 5th minute. Worthing were denied an early lead in the 12th minute, when Jamie Henley saved Ashley Rees's 25 yard chipped shot. Michael Antonio ended his strong right sided run with a low drive which flashed across the goal face and just wide of the far post in the 43rd minute.
Worthing went close again in the 68th minute, when Luke Akehurst struck a goalbound free kick from the left, to draw another fine save from Jamie Henley. We continued to look dangerous as we pushed forward looking for a breakthrough, with Michael Antonio's 25 yard shot from the right flying just wide of the post in the 73rd minute. A minute later, Dan Mason's right sided pass set up Daniel Azzopardi, whose chipped shot rose just over the crossbar.
Worthing went ahead in the 75th minute, when Ashley Rees's shot from the edge of the area was blocked by Jamie Henley, before the ball rebounded back to Rees, who fired home a low shot into the back of the net. We bounced straight back, with Daniel Azzopardi's left sided corner kick being headed in at the far post by Michael Antonio. Jamie Henley blocked Aaron Farrier's shot from the edge of the area in the 78th minute. We clinched victory in the 79th minute, when Daniel McIntosh ran on to a through pass, before chipping the ball over advancing keeper into the back of the net. Worthing's hopes of saving the game vanished in the 94th minute, when Micky Demetriou's 30 yard drive was saved by Jamie Henley, ensuring that the league points remained at Imperial Fields.

We progressed through to the second qualifying round after a resounding victory over Horsham. Early pressure on the visitors goal saw Michael Antonio strike a 25 yard drive from the right, which flew just wide of the far post in the 5th minute. We took the lead in the 19th minute after the ball was played in from the right to Dayo Junaid, who placed his shot wide of the keeper into the net. A strong run through the centre of the Horsham defence by Michael Antonio saw him beat four defenders before hitting home a low shot in the 27th minute.
Michael was then foiled by keeper Tom Baxter, who blocked his shot from inside the area two minutes later. Our third goal came in the 39th minute, when Dan Mason's cross from the left found Abdoulaye Canara, who fired home from close range. We added to our lead in stoppage time when Michael Antonio played the ball in from the right to Dayo Junaid, who netted from close range for his second goal of the match.
We extended our lead in the 64th minute, when Dan Mason's through pass was collected by Terroll Lewis, who struck his low shot into the right hand corner of the net. Two minutes later Michael Antonio's pass in from the right hand byline found Dan Mason, whose shot was cleared off the goal line. Horsham kept their heads up and were denied by the woodwork in the 73rd minute, when Tony Nwachukwu's 30 yard shot clipped the crossbar. Our sixth goal came after a determined right sided run by Michael Antonio, who beat several defenders before crossing to Abdoulaye Canara, who knocked the ball in whilst lying on the ground.
Abdoulaye Canara completed his hat trick with a cracking goal as he took Terroll Lewis's pass from the left in his stride, before hitting an unstoppable shot from 25 yards out into the back of the net. Terroll went close himself in the 88th minute, after rounding the keeper and hitting a shot which struck the post before being cleared off the goal line. We now face a home tie with Chertsey Town in the second qualifying round.

Our free scoring forwards hit seven for the second week running as we swept aside the spirited challenge provided by Horsham YMCA. Michael Antonio opened the scoring in the 7th minute, with a strong right sided run which saw him beat two defenders before hitting home his low shot. Dan Mason met a pass from the right before hitting an overhead kick which was saved by keeper Sam Charman on the goal line in the 17th minute. Abdoulaye Canara reacted quickly to intercept a weak clearance , before striking in his low drive in the 22nd minute. Two minutes later, Dan Mason saw his low shot pushed away by Sam Charman in the YMCA goal.
We went three up after half an hour, when a right sided corner kick from Billy Thompson found Michael Antonio, who fired home his low shot from inside the area. Dan Mason placed his left sided shot wide of the advancing keeper, only to see a defender clear the ball off the goal line in the 41st minute. Horsham YMCA pulled a goal back in stoppage time , when Mark Barwood's left sided shot flew into the far corner of the net. YMCA reduced the arrears further in the 47th minute, when Sam Belton curled in a right sided free kick. They were narrowly off target three minutes later, as they looked for an equaliser, as Josh Morris's 35 yard drive rose just over the crossbar.
We got back into our stride with Michael Antonio's pass from the right setting up Dayo Junaid, who scored from inside the area in the 54th minute. Dayo turned provider two minutes later with his pinpoint corner kick from the right finding Thiernor Dialio, who headed home our fifth goal. Terrell Lewis's left sided shot was blocked by the legs of keeper Charman in the 63rd minute. Mohammed Karaye's right sided cross was headed in by Daniel McIntosh in the 73rd minute. Dayo Junaid sent over a cross from the right which was met by Terrell Lewis, whose header was saved by Charman in the 74th minute. Daniel McIntosh saw his left sided shot pushed on to the post by the agile keeper, before being cleared away for a corner kick in the 81st minute.
Dayo Junaid completed our scoring in the 85th minute, when he placed his shot from inside the area wide of the keeper into the back of the net for our seventh goal. We were denied twice by the woodwork in the closing minutes as we looked to extend our lead. Michael Antonio's right sided cross was collected by Dayo Junaid, who hit a shot which struck the crossbar in the 88th minute. A minute later, Michael Antonio's surging right sided run ended with his shot striking the right hand post. A very entertaining match which is fast becoming the norm for our talented young side.

We produced another goal feast as we progressed through to the final qualifying round. Our opening goal came in the 2nd minute, when Thiernor Dialio headed in a left sided free kick. A minute later, Jamie Henley parried away a close range shot from Paul Bartholomew. Daniel McIntosh sent over a cross from the left, which was met by Dayo Junaid, who struck home his shot from inside the area for our second goal in the 6th minute. Joel Kampila added to our lead with his low shot from the right in the 11th minute. Five minutes later, Joel's run set up Dayo Junaid, who scored from close range.
Dayo turned provider for our fifth goal with a layoff to Daniel McIntosh, who hit a low shot into the corner of the net in the 33rd minute. Chertsey pulled a goal back in the 35th minute, when Sam Francis fired home a low shot. Terrell Lewis and Joel Kampila combined on the left to create an opening for Daniel McIntosh, who scored our sixth goal from close range in the 64th minute. Terrell's left sided cross led to Dan Mason rounding the keeper and scoring in the 67th minute. Chertsey were foiled by Jamie Henley, who produced a diving save to halt Sam Francis's header in the 82nd minute.
A through pass was run on to by Aran Pucci, before he struck a low shot to reduce the arrears in the 87th minute. We completed the scoring with our eighth goal in the 91st minute, when Terrell Lewis's right sided free kick was blocked, enabling Daniel Azzopardi to hit home his follow up shot. We now meet Leatherhead away in the next round on Thursday 25th April.

We produced another special display to come from behind to beat Kingstonian in a match which was a superb advert for youth football. Kingstonian took an early lead after a corner kick from the left was knocked in at the near post by Mark Watkins in the 3rd minute. Joel Kampila's strong right sided run set up Dayo Junaid, who turned and struck a shot which was saved by keeper George Ellis in the 15th minute. A quick break down the left from K's led to Mark Watkins hitting a close range shot which was blocked by Jamie Henley in the 22nd minute.
We drew level in the 49th minute, when Terrell Lewis's right sided free kick was knocked in from close range by Thiernor Dialio. Jamie Henley made another important save, when he blocked Mark Watkins's close range shot in the 81st minute. Just three minutes into extra time we made the vital breakthrough, when Terrell Lewis's right sided corner kick was hit home by Dan Mason. Thiernor Dialio made a timely clearance to block and clear Ross Chipley's left sided shot off the line in the 97th minute.
Chipley was foiled again four minutes later, when his shot on the turn was saved by Jamie Henley. Robert Sheridan's shot from the edge of the area struck the right hand post in the 105th minute. We made sure of victory in the 111th minute, when Dan Mason made a determined run down the right byline, before sending a pass to Dayo Junaid, whose first shot was blocked by keeper Ellis, before Dayo made sure with his follow up shot. Kingstonian countered with Mark Watkins's shot being blocked by Jamie Henley to ensure that we progressed through to the second round, where we face an away tie at Camberley Town.

Our run in the FA Youth Cup came to an end after a below par performance at Leatherhead. We found ourselves under early pressure as our hosts made the early running. Robbie Hendry's left sided shot flew just over the crossbar in the 1st minute. We hit back with Michael Antonio's cross from the right finding Abdoulaye Canara, whose shot from the edge of the area struck the left hand post in the 12th minute. Jamie Henley pushed out Robbie Hendry's right sided shot in the 23rd minute. Jamie produced another fine reflex save to push out Tom Horley's free kick from the left on the half hour.
Leatherhead went in front in the 42nd minute, when Daryl Cooper-Smith's left sided shot evaded Jamie Henley's attempted clearance to fly into the far corner of the net. In the final minute of the first half, Leatherhead added to their lead, after Steve Barilli's right sided run saw him fire home a low drive into the left hand corner of the goal. Once again, Jamie Henley produced a vital save, blocking Cooper-Smith's shot from point blank range in the 57th minute.
Our best chance of reducing the arrears came on the hour, when Dan Mason's right sided free kick forced home keeper Tom Gibson into tipping the ball over the crossbar to safety. Having produced such a sparkling performance to reach this stage of the competition, it was a bitter blow to bow out in such circumstances.

Molesey Youth 4 Tooting & Mitcham United Youth 1
Despite a spirited display, we made an early exit from the League Cup. we took the opportunity to give some squad members the chance of a match to display their potential, which they all achieved to varying degrees. Molesey took the lead in the 6th minute, after Owen Bent's shot was blocked by Laurence Jelly, before Danny Roberts rounded Laurence to shoot them in front. Laurence produced a fine blocking save to halt Matt Dodd's left sided shot in the 13th minute. We equalised a minute later, when David Fianyor's powerful right sided run saw him flight over a precise cross to the far post, where Daniel Azzopardi was on hand to knock the ball in.
Molesey regained the lead in the 22nd minute, following a free kick on the right, which was played to Dan Hunt, who scored with a low shot into the left hand corner of the net. Michael Antonio made a determined run down the right, before firing a shot which keeper James Farrow managed to parry away to safety in the 33rd minute. Michael was foiled again by the home keeper in the 48th minute, following a right sided corner kick which reached Michael, whose shot was parried away by Farrow. Molesey extended their lead in the 50th minute, when Michael Hughes scored with a 30 yard chipped shot.
Michael Antonio continued to cause problems for the home defence with his 66th minute shot being parried onto the left hand post by Farrow. Molesey's fourth goal came after a right sided break which ended with Craig Stevens hitting home his shot in the 68th minute. Our attempts to reduce the arrears led to Dan Mason's close range shot being blocked by James Farrow, before he then also halted Michael Antonio's follow up shot in the 89th minute.

We eventually slipped to our first home defeat of the season against league leaders AFC Wimbledon. Michael Antonio's cross from the right found David Fianyor, whose close range shot was blocked by keeper Liam Poupart, as we made the early running. AFC went ahead in the 43rd minute, after a left sided corner was headed in at the far post by Michael Kyere. We bounced back instantly with Dan Mason's pass being collected by David Fianyor, who ran on and placed his shot beyond the reach of keeper Poupart into the back of the net. The game then swung back in AFC's favour, as a right sided break saw Michael Kyere score his second goal with a chipped shot which rebounded in off the crossbar in stoppage time.
We applied considerable pressure on the visitor's defence as we looked to level the score. Dan Mason's pass from the right reached Ben Blackburn, who turned and struck a shot just over the crossbar in the 53rd minute. Dayo Junaid's left sided shot on the turn was saved by Poupart in the 75th minute. Dayo provided the pass to David Fianyor, whose low shot was pushed away at the foot of the right hand post by keeper Poupart in the 83rd minute. As the match went into stoppage time, Dayo Junaid sent over a free kick from the left, which was met by Daniel Azzopardi, whose shot was cleared off the goal line by the busy Poupart in the AFC goal ensuring that they held on to the league points, despite our best efforts.

After twice being pegged back, we clinched victory with a cracking goal to gain a deserved victory over second in the table Staines Town. A quick early break from Staines saw Lyle Taylor fire a shot over from the left sided byline which struck the left hand post, before Elliott Thompson struck a follow up shot which was saved on the line by James Farrow in the 2nd minute. We took the lead in 6th minute, when Dan Mason's cross from the left was headed home by Michael Antonio.
Our former player Will Marlowe hit a shot from the edge of the area which was saved by James Farrow in the 14th minute. James made another important save, when he tipped Lyle Taylor's left sided free kick over the crossbar in the 23rd minute. Staines drew level after a left sided run by Taylor led to a pass to Will Marlowe who hit a low shot into the left hand corner of the net in the 31st minute. We fought back to grab the interval lead, when Mohammed Karaye's cross from the right found David Fianyor in space and he rounded the keeper before hitting his shot home in the 44th minute.
Lyle Taylor remained a constant threat with his low shot being deflected away for a corner kick in the 53rd minute. Staines went close when a pass from the left found James King, whose header flew just wide of the right hand post in the 65th minute. Their pressure paid off in the 70th minute, when Lyle Taylor ran on to a through pass, before striking a low shot past James Farrow.
Play was switching from end to end as both teams looked to snatch the winning goal. That distinction fell to us after a throw in from the left found Alex Karamath, who hit an unstoppable drive from 30 yards out giving keeper Kristos Straker no chance in the 81st minute. Staines saw their last chance of saving the game pass, as a right sided free kick was collected by Will Marlowe, whose shot on the turn flew just wide of the right hand post in the 88th minute. A compelling match to watch as both sides went all out to attack at every opportunity, the true essence of youth team football.

Two late goals ensured that we withstood a second half comeback and record a victory over our local rivals at Colston Avenue. We took the lead in the 12th minute, when Alomeen Amodu's through pass was collected by David Fianyor, who ran on before placing his shot into the left hand corner of the net. David Fianyor was on target again three minutes later, when his low shot finished off a right sided move. Dayo Junaid's left sided run ended with his shot flying into the side netting in the 17th minute. Michael Antonio struck our third goal with a low shot from the right in the 20th minute.
Carshalton pulled a goal back in the 35th minute, when Jamie Thorogood's shot from the edge of the area was pushed out by James Farrow, only for Daniel Drake to knock in the loose ball from close range. The Robins edged closer after a free kick was sent over by Ziyaad Hussain and headed in at the near post by Daniel Drake. We continued to cause problems for the home defence with Alex Karamath hitting a shot on the turn which was deflected away for a corner kick in the 62nd minute.
Carshalton equalised in the 79th minute, when a left sided move led to Osa Ubamwonyi hitting home his shot. The same player went close to giving the home side the lead, when he connected with a right sided cross, only for his header to be saved by James Farrow in the 84th minute. We dug deep and went close ourselves in the 86th minute, when Terrell Lewis's shot from inside the area was saved by keeper Adam Peck. Lewis Hannam and Michael Antonio linked up on the right to produce an opening for Michael, who rounded the keeper before hitting home our fourth goal in the 87th minute. David Fianyor put the result beyond doubt when he ran on to a through pass before rounding the keeper to score our fifth and his third goal in the sixth minute of stoppage time. This result sees us climb up to third in the table.

Five goals in the opening eighteen minutes paved the way for success in the second round of the floodlit cup at Camberley. We opened the scoring in the 3rd minute, when Dan Mason ran on to a through pass before firing home a low shot. Daniel Azzopardi's left sided pass found David Fianyor, who struck in a low shot for our second goal in the 6th minute. Three minutes later Dan Mason's right sided corner kick was headed in by Michael Antonio.
The scoring spree continued with David Fianyor rounding the keeper before scoring our fourth goal in the 13th minute. David Fianyor played the ball out to Michael Antonio on the right, whose powerful run split the home defence, enabling Dayo Junaid to fire home from close range in the 18th minute. Camberley were awarded a penalty kick following a foul on a home forward. Alex Jeffer's spot kick drew a fine diving save from Jamie Henley in the 24th minute. Jason Sarpong-Aboaque saw his chipped shot fumbled by home keeper Josh Peckham before being saved at the second attempt in the 37th minute. Camberley pulled a goal back a minute later after a right sided move found Alex Jeffers in space and he hit home his shot into the left hand corner of the net.
We continued to press forward with Dan Mason's corner kick from the right being met by Mohammed Karaye, whose goalbound header was tipped over the crossbar by keeper Josh Peckham in the 56th minute. Joel Kampila's right sided pass set up David Fianyor, whose shot was blocked giving Joel the opportunity to hit in his follow up shot for our sixth goal in the 82nd minute. Camberley reduced the arrears in the 85th minute, when Dan Vickers scored with his shot from inside the area.

Fetcham Grove proved once again not to be a happy hunting ground for us, as we slipped to our second defeat there in the space of five weeks. Keeper Jamie Henley quickly got himself into the action as he produced a fine blocking save to halt home forward Steve Barrilli's shot after he ran on to a through pass in the 11th minute. Michael Antonio's quick thinking saw him intercept an intended clearance and hit a shot which was pushed away for a corner kick by keeper Tom Gibson in the 14th minute.
Leatherhead took the lead in the 18th minute, when Tom Horley chipped in a free kick from 30 yards out, which keeper Jamie Henley was unable to prevent dipping over him into the net. 'The Tanners' increased their lead five minutes later, after Tom Horley's through pass was collected by Steve Barrilli, whose run on goal was ended by a challenge from Jamie Henley, resulting in the awarding of a penalty kick, which was converted by Simon McManus.We quickly got on the attack with Jason Sarpong-Aboaque striking a curled shot which was saved at the left hand post by Tom Gibson in the 24th minute. Increased pressure saw us press forward with Daniel McIntosh hitting his shot just wide of the left hand post following a Dan Mason corner kick in the 67th minute.
We finally pulled a goal back in the 75th minute after Daniel Azzopardi sent over a corner kick from the right which was knocked in by Daniel McIntosh. As we looked to be gaining the upper hand, fate took an unfortunate twist, as keeper Jamie Henley was injured after a brave dive to halt a home attack that left him hobbling. A quick break down the right by Daryl Cooper-Smith was him strike a shot which Jamie Henley managed to spread himself to parry away, but could not prevent Steve Barrilli from knocking in his follow up shot in the 84th minute.

We produced another excellent team performance to end Kingstonian's unbeaten league record as we came back from conceding an early goal. Kingstonian went ahead in the 2nd minute, when a left sided move was finished off by Florin Ramizi. We bounced back to equalise in the 11th minute, when Dan Mason's free kick from the right was met by Michael Antonio, who struck home his low shot. Dayo Junaid set up our second goal in the 29th minute with his pass to Daniel McIntosh, who placed his shot wide of Matthew Heptonstall into the back of the net.
We extended our lead in the 31st minute, when Dan Mason curled a free kick from the left into the corner of the net. Kingstonian pulled a goal back in the 35th minute, when Tom Dilloway hit a curling free kick from the right into the right hand corner of the net. Dayo Junaid saw his close range shot saved by the K's keeper in the 43rd minute. Dan Mason's 25 yard drive was saved by keeper Heptonstall in the 48th minute. Michael Antonio's determined right sided run set up our fourth goal in the 59th minute, with his precise pass finding Daniel McIntosh, who sidefooted home his shot. Thiernor Dialio produced a timely clearance to clear Jack Murphy's 35 yard chipped shot off the goal line in the 66th minute.
Daniel McIntosh's left sided pass found Dayo Junaid, whose shot flew just wide of the right hand post in the 75th minute. We scored our fifth goal in the 83rd minute, when Dan Mason's free kick from the left was headed in at the far post by Thiernor Dialio. Kingstonian mounted a late rally, with a right sided free kick reaching Tom Dilloway, who slotted the ball in from inside the area in the 88th minute. We kept up the pressure on the K's goal, with Michael Antonio hitting a right sided shot which curled in to draw a last gasp save from Heptonstall on the goal line in the 94th minute. We maintained our hold on third position, as we keep pace with the early pacesetters.

Despite a late flourish we slipped to our second home defeat of the season after a see saw match with plenty of goalmouth action to keep the hardy spectators entertained on a bitterly cold evening. Michael Antonio's low cross from the right was cleared off the goal line to earn us a corner kick in the 16th minute. From the flag kick the ball found Billy Thompson, who struck a shot which flew just wide of the left hand post.
We took the lead in the 19th minute, after we were awarded a penalty kick for a hand ball. Michael Antonio converted the spot kick for his 13th goal of the season so far. Leatherhead equalised in the 21st minute, when Tom Horley's left sided free kick from 30 yards out bounced in the area on it's way into the net. James Farrow came to our rescue when he saved a Steven Barilli shot from inside the area in the 29th minute. Leatherhead went in front in the 35th minute after a half clearance fell to Hamzah Malik, who scored with a low shot. James Farrow got down well to push out Sacha M'Baye's shot from inside the area in the 40th minute. We countered with Alomeen Amodu's left sided lobbed shot being cleared off the goal line in the 43rd minute.
Leatherhead increased their lead in the 49th minute, when Simon McManus ran on to a right sided pass before hitting in his low shot. We slipped further behind in the 70th minute, after Robbie Hendry played the ball on to Charlie Marshall, who struck his low shot into the right hand corner of the net. We edged our way back into the match, with Dan Mason seeing his 30 yard free kick dip just over the crossbar in the 77th minute. We were awarded a second penalty kick of the match for a handball offence in the 81st minute, which was converted this time by Thiernor Dialio, to give us hope of rescuing the the match. We scored our third goal two minutes later, when Alex Karamath's teasing cross from the left was met by Lewis Hannam, who directed his close range shot beyond the reach of keeper Tom Gibson into the back of the net. Time ran out as we strived to snatch the all important goal, but the team deserves much credit for not giving up to ensure a grandstand finale to the match.

After an enforced four week break, we found ourselves facing an in form Croydon Athletic side, who quickly showed their mid table position belied their true potential. We went behind in the 7th minute, after failing to clear a right sided cross, enabling Harrison Carnegie to score from close range. Croydon soon added to their lead, when Navid Zandi's pass from the right was flicked in by Dan Moody into the left hand corner of the net.
James Farrow stemmed the pressure on the home goal with a timely save to push Dan Moody's shot away for a corner kick in the 13th minute. Moody was foiled again by James in the 18th minute, when he dived to block his left sided shot. Navid Zandi's left sided free kick was curled into the far corner of the net to increase their lead in the 20th minute. Ben Chapman, making his debut for us, sent over a dipping cross from the right which flew just wide of the far post in the 43rd minute. Croydon's final goal came in the 54th minute, when a right sided free kick was headed home by Matthew Way.
We worked our way back into the game with Daniel McIntosh cutting in from the right flank and striking a shot to draw a save from keeper Reece Oacar in the 79th minute. Alex Karamath struck a shot from inside the area to force keeper Reece Oacar into blocking his shot in the 91st minute. Our late attacking flurry was rewarded in the 93rd minute, when a corner kick from the left found Daniel McIntosh at the far post and he struck a low shot into the right hand corner of the net.
Despite the result, several players took the opportunity to show their potential, as they came in to replace the established players who had been promoted into the reserve team, showing that the team is achieving its intended purpose of bringing on young players through the club's ranks.

A goal in each half saw us overcome local rivals Raynes Park Vale in our eagerly awaited Surrey Midweek Floodlit Cup quarter final tie. Added spice was added to the fixture by the inclusion of five of our players from last season: Toby Couch, Daniel Rondeau, Adam Skinner, Elliott Thompson and Reece Wellman in the Vale line up. We made the early breakthrough, going ahead in the 6th minute, when Michael Antonio's strong run down the right flank led to the ball being played across to the far corner of the area, where Joel Kampila was on hand to hit a low drive into the corner of the net.
Michael went close himself with a chipped shot from 35 yards out which dipped over the crossbar in the 18th minute. Dan Mason's pass from the right set up Daniel McIntosh, whose shot flew just wide of the left hand post in the 27th minute. Vale drew level after a weak clearance found Reece Wellman in space on the left and he advanced into the area, before hitting a low shot beyond the reach of Laurence Jelly into the back of the net in the 31st minute.
The second half saw both sides continue to serve up an entertaining display to reward our biggest crowd so far this season for a youth team fixture, despite the counter attraction of the England match on television. We sealed victory in the 62nd minute, when Dan Mason sent over a precise corner kick from the left which curled in at the far post to earn us an away tie at Whyteleafe in the semi final.

After a quiet first half we turned on the style to run out comfortable winners and record our first double of the season. We quickly took the game to our hosts with Dayo Junaid cutting in from the right and firing a shot which keeper Sam Charman needed to push away for a corner kick in the 12th minute. We went ahead in the 32nd minute after Lewis Hannam was felled in the area, enabling Dayo Junaid to convert the resulting penalty kick. YMCA went close twice during the remainder of the first half. Nathaniel Rowland hit a shot from the right hand side of the area which flew just wide of the left hand post in the 34th minute.
Michael Oran struck a shot from 25 yards out which dipped just over the crossbar in the 45th minute to ensure we maintained our interval lead. Darren Millard's right sided pass found Dan Mason, whose chipped shot rose just over the crossbar in the 48th minute, as we started the second half in inspired fashion. Dayo Junaid's cross from the right was met at the far post by Daniel Wilson, who saw his close range shot fly into the side netting in the 51st minute. Alex Karamath sent over a dipping cross from the left which was pushed away for a corner kick by keeper Charman in the 52nd minute. Our next attack in the same minute saw Lewis Hannam run at the home defence down the right, beating several defenders before firing a low shot into the far corner of the net to increase our lead.
Further pressure saw Ben Blackburn supply Daniel McIntosh with a pass which allowed him to fire a shot which was deflected away for a corner kick in the 67th minute. Ben was on the attack again a minute later, this time striking a low drive to force keeper Sam Charman into making a diving save. Our third goal came in the 78th minute when Lewis Hannam sent over a right sided free kick to Dan Mason, who fired home a low shot. We completed the scoring in the 85th minute, when Dayo Junaid ran on to a through pass, before rounding the keeper and shooting into the empty net. A fine team performance which lifted us back into the closely matched group of front running teams vying for a top three position.

The honours were shared after a keenly contested league encounter at Leylands Park. We started brightly with Michael Antonio hitting a left sided shot from inside the area which was blocked by keeper Aaron Agate in the 10th minute. Lewis Hannam sent over a free kick from the right which was met by Michael Antonio whose shot was saved by busy keeper Agate in the home goal in the 25th minute. Michael went close again in the 38th minute, when he connected with Dayo Junaid's cross from the left, before seeing his far post shot deflected away for a corner kick. Dayo Junaid's run down the left flank led to Alex Karamath sending over a precise cross to Lewis Hannam at the far post, who flighted his shot just over the crossbar in the 42nd minute.
Lewis was narrowly off target again in the 46th minute as we continued to keep up the pressure on the home goal. A minute later, James Farrow came to our rescue as he blocked a close range shot from Gary Bowner with his legs. Burgess Hill went close in the 58th minute, when Ryan Morlan ran on to a through pass before hitting a goalbound shot which needed to be cleared off the goal line by Thiernor Dialio to repel the danger. Mohammed Karaye struck a dipping cross from the right flank which flew just over the home crossbar in the 71st minute. We went behind in the 73rd minute, when Grant Kanil ran on to a through pass down the middle, before hitting a low shot into the right hand corner of the net. We had the ball in the net two minutes later, after Mohammed Karaye played the ball on to Michael Antonio, who played it over to the far post, where Connor Clashar was waiting to knock the ball into the net, only for the goal to be disallowed as he was deemed to be in an offside position.
Not to be denied, we continued to press forward and gained our reward in the 82nd minute. Michael Antonio cut in from the left and produced a powerful crossfield run before hitting a shot which the keeper managed to parry out as far as Lewis Hannam, who played the ball over to Connor Clashar, who scored from close range. We went close to clinching victory in the 86th minute, when Nick Ford passed to Lewis Hannam, who turned and struck a shot which flew just wide of the laft hand post.

We fought our way through to the final after twice coming from behind to record a deserved victory over Whyteleafe at Church Road. Daniel Azzopardi sent over a pass from the left to Daniel McIntosh, who hit a shot on the turn just wide of the right hand post in the 4th minute, as we made a bright start. A minute later, Dan Mason's cross from the left found Michael Antonio, who struck a low shot to force keeper Vikrant Shah into making a diving save. Against the run of play, we went behind in the 12th minute. A left sided corner kick was hit deep top the far post, where Alex Keen rose to head the ball across to Jake Wickham who headed home from close range.
Laurence Jelly made an important save, when he dived to halt Luke Hackett's header following a left sided cross in the 14th minute. Thiernor Dialio ran on to a pass from the right, before unleashing a drive from 35 yards out which flashed just wide of the right hand post in the 35th minute. We drew level in the 49th minute, after Dayo Junaid's left sided run split the home defence and his cross was struck in at the far post by Michael Antonio. Whyteleafe bounced back and retook the lead in the 58th minute after a right sided free kick was headed in by Luke Hackett. Our reply was instant, as straight from the kick off, Alex Karamath rounded off his run down the left with a pinpoint cross to the far post, where Daniel McIntosh was waiting to hit the ball in to put us back on level terms.
Whyteleafe were reduced to ten men after Tony Manning was sent off for a late tackle on Jason Sarpong-Aboaque. Our winning goal came in the 76th minute, when Mohammed Karaye was brought down from behind as he advanced into the area by Gary Tyson. Michael Antonio converted the penalty kick as we took the lead for the first time. Whyteleafe went close in the 87th minute, when Jake Wakeham connected with a left sided free kick, only to see his shot gathered by the safe hands of Laurence Jelly. Daniel McIntosh was sent off for his second bookable offence in the 96th minute, but our remaining ten men stood firm to ensue a memorable victory.

After our excellent cup performance the previous week, we failed to hold on to our first half lead and slipped to a narrow defeat at the hands of Horsham at Imperial Fields. Lewis Hannam went close with his shot from the edge of the area, which flew just wide of the right hand post in the 10th minute. On the half hour, Alomeem Amodu struck a free kick from inside our half which keeper Tom Baxter just managed to tip onto the crossbar. We soon made the breakthrough after a left sided pass split the visitors defence, finding Daniel McIntosh, who struck home his shot from inside the area in the 34th minute.
Horsham drew level in the 44th minute, when Elliott Hawkes played the ball over from the right flank to Pat Surlis, who rounded Laurence Jelly to score. We fell behind in the 59th minute, when a through pass from the right found Tony Nwachku in space and he hit a low drive into the right hand corner of the net. We mounted a concerted attack on the Horsham goal in the closing stages as we strived to save the match. Daniel Wilson's shot from 25 yards out was blocked with Ben Chapman's follow up shotbeing tipped over the crossbar by keeper Baxter during a hectic 80th minute.
Horsham continued to look dangerous on the break with Laurence Jelly making an important save when he pushed away Elliott Hawkes's left sided free kick in the 83rd minute. Once again the woodwork denied us in the 89th minute, when Dan Mason fired a shot from the edge of the area which crashed against the crossbar, before rebounding to safety. Horsham held on during stoppage time to record their second away success in the space of a week, having triumphed in their local derby with Horsham YMCA the previous week.

We returned from Longmead Stadium with a valuable point after matching our hosts in all departments. Early pressure saw us test the home defence, when Daniel McIntosh struck a right sided shot from inside the area which keeper Jordan Busby managed to block with his legs in the 17th minute. We went ahead in the 28th minute, after Michael Antonio ran on to Mohammed Karaye's pinpoint through pass, calmly placing his shot beyond the reach of the home keeper. We remained in charge with Billy Thompson hitting a shot from outside the area which keeper Busby could only parry, enabling Michael Antonio to strike a follow up shot which rose just over the crossbar in the 32nd minute.
Tonbridge broke down the left flank leading to Charlie Sharman hitting a shot from the edge of the area which was blocked by the legs of Jamie Henley in the 37th minute. Billy Thompson went close again in the 40th minute with his shot from 30 yards out, which dipped just over the crossbar. Tonbridge equalised in the 44th minute, when Jack Maddans hit a low left sided shot into the far corner of the net. The second half followed the same pattern as we took the game to our hosts. Alex Karamath's left sided cross found Michael Antonio, whose shot flew just wide of the right hand post in the 48th minute. Ten minutes later, Jason Sarpong-Aboaque collected a pass outside the area, before hitting a drive which curled just wide of the right hand post.

Jamie Henley made an important save, when he blocked Luke Blewden's shot from the edge of the area with his legs a minute later. We continued to push forward with Lewis Hannam supplying a pass to Jason Sarpong-Aboaque, who turned and fired a shot which flashed just wide of the right hand post in the 88th minute. Tonbridge wasted a golden opportunity to clinch victory after a pass from the left found Jack Maddans in space, but he hurried his shot, sending the ball wide of the right hand post in the 90th minute.

Our first game for three weeks saw us match our high flying hosts for long periods of the match before being on the receiving end of some clinical finishing, which enabled Croydon Athletic to return to the head of the table. We found ourselves under early pressure with Laurence Jelly producing a timely save when he tipped Harrison Carnegie's shot from outside the area over the crossbar in the 13th minute. We tested the home rearguard shortly afterwards, when Terrell Lewis sent over a cross from the right to Dayo Junaid, whose shot drew a diving save from keeper Reece Oscar in the 18th minute. We applied further pressure leading to a right sided free kick finding Dan Mason, who struck a shot from the edge of the area which the keeper needed to tip over the crossbar to safety in the 22nd minute.
Croydon were thwarted again in the 25th minute, when Dan Moody's shot from the right hand side of the area was pushed out with an inspired one handed save from the agile Laurence Jelly. Dan Moody was denied by the woodwork in the final minute of the half, when his shot from the edge of the area struck the left hand post. We fell behind in the 53rd minute, when Dan Moody ran on to a right sided pass, before hitting a in low shot. Croydon increased their lead when a left sided free kick was met by Romone MacCrae, who headed home from close range in the 66th minute.
Laurence Jelly came to our rescue again in the 69th minute, when he tipped Harrison Carnegie's close range shot over the crossbar. A minute later, Dayo Junaid collected a pass from the left, before hitting a shot which flew just wide of the left hand post. Laurence Jelly produced another point blank save in the 74th minute to keep us in the game. We were reduced to ten men after Terrell Lewis's over zealous lunge earned him a red card in the 78th minute. Athletic's third goal came after a swiftly worked right sided move which ended with Navid Zandi chipping home from inside the area in the 84th minute.
Dayo Junaid struck a shot from inside the area which was deflected away for a corner kick in the 90th minute, as we kept battling right to the final whistle. Dayo went close again in the 95th minute, after he turned smartly to flight a chipped shot goalwards, only to see it rise just over the crossbar.

Despite twice holding the lead we eventually slipped to a narrow defeat as Horshamgrabbed a 90th minute winner at the Atspeed stadium. Horsham went close in the 9th minute, when a through pass was collected by Tony Nwachukwu, who ran on before hitting a shot which flew just wide of the left hand post. We took the lead in the 14th minute, when Connor Clashar played a pinpoint through pass to Dayo Junaid, who beat the keeper before slotting the ball home. Connor provided another telling pass to enable Billy Thompson to strike a shot which flashed just wide of the left hand post in the 19th minute. Connor himself went close with a shot from the edge of the area to draw a diving save from keeper Dominic Burchell in the 61st minute.
Horsham drew level in the 68th minute, when a right sided free kick was floated into the area and headed home from close range by Michael Dale. We bounced straight back to regain the lead a minute later, after Lewis Hannam curled his left sided free kick into the area, where Thiernor Dialio timed his run to perfection to hit the ball in past a shellshocked home defence. Horsham levelled the score four minutes later, when Tony Nwachukwa reacted swiftly to hit home his follow up shot after we had blocked a left sided free kick. The end to end play continued with Horsham snatching the lead in the 90th minute, when a corner kick from the left reached Patrick O'Sullivan, who placed his shot into the right hand corner of the net.
We pressed forward in the dying minutes with Connor Clashar playing a through ball on to Dayo Junaid, who struck a shot which flew just wide of the right hand post in the 92nd minute.Dayo went even closer in the 94th minute, after cutting in from the left and hitting a shot which keeper Dominic Burchell just managed to tip over the crossbar to safety ensuring that we ventured back from West Sussex empty handed.

Our hopes of county cup success were ended after we were unable to pull back Sutton's first half advantage. We fell behind in the 13th minute, when a left sided free kick was headed in by Bentley Graham. Sutton increased their lead five minutes later, when Jerson Dos Santos cut in from the left before hitting a low shot into the left hand corner of the net. Dan Mason curled in a free kick, only for it to be ruled offside in the 20th minute. Further pressure on the Sutton goal saw Michael Antonio fire a shot from inside the area, which was parried away for a corner kick by keeper Danny Bracken in the 22nd minute.
Sutton scored their third goal in the 42nd minute, after a corner kick was parried by Laurence Jelly, before Bentley Graham hit the loose ball home from close range. We fell further behind in the opening minute of the second half after a left sided move led to Jonny Humphries rounding Laurence Jelly to score. We pulled a goal back in the 50th minute, when Nick Ford's cross from the right was met at the far post by Alex Karamath, who slotted the ball in. The goal of the game came in the 59th minute, when Abi Benis cut in from the right and struck a scorching drive into the far corner of the net. We kept pushing forward to our credit, only to be denied by the woodwork twice in the 88th minute. Michael Antonio's free kick struck the right hand post, before Jason Sarpong-Aboaque struck the crossbar.
Michael Antonio sent over a cross from the right which was met by Dan Mason, whose header was pushed away for a corner kick by keeper Bracken in the 92nd minute. The final scoreline failed to reflect the level of play, as we matched the eventual victors in open play for long periods.

A spirited second half performance saw us push our hosts close as they recorded a narrow win. Worthing took the lead in the 38th minute, when a left sided free kick was met by Harry Constable, who struck the ball in from close range.
Keeper Laurence Jelly took a heavy knock in the latter stages of the first half, prior to the opening goal and was replaced for the second half by Alex Karamath, who coped very well to thwart the home forwards for long periods. On the hour, Worthing added to their lead, when Harry Constable struck a low shot from inside the area.
We bounced back with Lewis Hannams corner kick from the left being headed in by Jason Sarpong-Aboaque at the far post in the 75th minute. We were awarded a penalty kick after Dayo Junaid was brought down as he advanced on goal. Billy Thompson saw his spot kick pushed away by keeper Will Martin at full stretch in the 84th minute, as Worthing held on to their slender advantage.
