19/8/08	Sorry to have to announce another passing away, of Robin Hill, also a long and treasured member of the club, who passed away last Sunday. His funeral is next Tuesday 26^th August 2pm in Meols United Reform Church (next to Railway Inn). The reception is back at the rugby club, 3 pm. This Saturday 23^rd August there is a do at the club, renowned local musician Phil Clark - £4 at the door. During the afternoon there is a pre-season friendly at home against Anselmians.

5/11/05	It is with very much regret that I have to announce the passing away of Hedley Bunce who, even at the age of 85, was still an active member of the club helping the treasurer with banking duties. A man of many parts he will be sadly missed by his family, his many friends and members of the Rugby Club. Cremation will be at Landican at 12.00 on Tuesday 15th November 2005 followed by a service at Westbourne Road Methodist Chapel, West Kirby at 12.45pm. All are invited by Jane and Liz and other members of the family to join them at Hoylake Rugby Club after the service. Brief resume of Hedley's involvement with HRFC. Other news - Graeme Marrs, Cheshire president, is organising a social evening at Mitchell's Wine Bar, Tattenhall, on Wednesday 30th November, £25 per ticket. See Stirling if interested.

3/10/05	It is with deep regret that I have to inform you all that one of the great stalwarts of the club, John Price, passed away this morning. The funeral will take place on Friday 7th October; 11am at Landican, followed by a drink at Kings Gap Court.
